Medical Admission Circular 2021-22
Admission circular has been published for the much awaited Medical College MBBS course for the 2021-22 academic year. Which was published on the official website of the Directorate General of Health Services on the evening of January 22, 2022. According to the circular signed by the Hon’ble Minister of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Zahid Malek MP, the admission test for the 2021-22 academic year of this year’s Medical MBBS course will be held on April 1, 2022.

Medical Admission 2022
Admission application for first year MBBS course in 2021-22 academic year has started in government and private medical colleges of the country. Students wishing to become physicians can apply from today, Thursday. Online application has started from 12 noon on 11th February. Students can apply for medical admission until 11:59 pm on March 1. Students have to fill the application form by depositing one thousand rupees through Teletalk pre-paid mobile.
Bangladesh Medical College Admission Requirements
Citizens of Bangladesh who have passed SSC or equivalent examination in 2018 or 2019 and HSC or equivalent examination in 2020 or 2021 (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology) can apply for medical admission. Students who have passed SSC or equivalent examination before 2018 will not be able to apply.
The total GPA in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations in education programs conducted in the country or abroad should be at least 9. In case of candidates from minority nationalities and hill districts, the total GPA in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations should be at least 8. However, students will not be considered eligible to apply if the minimum grade point in any examination is less than 3.50. In addition, everyone must have a minimum grade point of 3.50 in HSC or equivalent examination in Biology.

How to Apply Medical MBBS Admission 2022?

Information that will be required to complete the application form
1. Image: Scanned or oiled image on digital camera and size 300 x 300 pixels. However, the image size should not exceed 100 KB.
2. Signature: It should be scanned by signing on a white paper. The scanned image size should be 300 x 80 pixels. However, the file size will not exceed 60 KB.
3. Address: Candidate’s District, Current Address, Permanent Address (District, Thana / Upazila, Paste Code etc.) must be written in English.
4. Preferred list: The names of the admitted medical colleges should be written in the order of their choice. Because once the order of preference is given, it will not change. The list of medical calls is given in the circular.
How to Pay MBBS Admission Fee?
The online application will not be considered final until the application fee has been submitted. The fee submission procedure is described step by step-
Go to the Message option of Teletalk’s Prepaid mobile phone, type MBBS, enter User ID with space and send SMS to 16222.
Example: Write MBBS <Space> FRLGCT and send to 16222.
Consent will be sought in the return SMS with a PIN, name of the candidate and deduction of Rs.1000 / – (one thousand) as examination fee. To give consent you need to send SMS to 16222 as follows.
Go to Message option, type MBBS, write YES with space, write PIN with space, space with maximum four Center Code (Table 1) with comma (,) and send SMS to 16222.
Example: Type MBBS <Space> YES <Space> 456789 <Space> 15,16,22,51 and send to 1622.
If the PIN number is written correctly, 1000 / (one thousand) rupees will be deducted from the Teletalk’s Prepaid mobile for the examination fee and the candidate will be given a User ID and Password in the return SMS stating the name of the examination center.

How to apply Bangladeshis living abroad
Bangladeshi nationals residing abroad and students studying at ‘A’ level ‘A’ level can apply online. In that case they have to apply along with the Director, Department of Medical Education, Health Education, Mohakhali, Dhaka with a bank draft / pay order of two thousand rupees. You have to convert the CGPA by applying and take the ID number while collecting the equivalent certificate. Attested copy of SSC certificate should be brought along while collecting equivalent certificate.
Medical Admission question pattern & marks distribution
Students will have to answer 100 MCQ questions of 100 marks in the medical admission test, the value of each of which is 1. MCQ will test this in one hour. 20 marks in Physics, 25 marks in Chemistry, 30 marks in Biology, 15 marks in English and 10 marks in General Knowledge, History and Liberation War. 0.25 marks can be deducted for each wrong answer in the written test. Must get minimum 40 marks out of 100 marks in written test. If less than this will be considered unsuccessful. Only the successful candidates will be declared with merit list. GPA obtained in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations will be assessed by determining the total as 200 marks. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of written test.
When is the medical dental examination?
